This great, interactive site has some wonderful information on gardening and how to do it. Although the site is focused on the UK, there is a lot of information here for any gardener.

Japanese Cherry Trees are blooming

The Japanese Cherry Trees at Lake Balboa in Van Nuys are in full bloom. I drove by today and was surprised to seem them fully-engaged. It is best to visit on a weekday, as weekends are very busy at the park.
