I love watching the hummingbirds in my garden and I especially like seeing — and filming — them up close and personal. For me, a window feeder is a great way to bring them as close as possible — letting you see every detail of their feathers, coloring and behaviors.

This feeder is one of 2 types that I have attached to my office windows. When I need a break, it’s great to watch them flit about, chase each other away territorially and then casually — almost daintily lap up the sugar water with their amazing tongues.

The suction cups on this feeder work quite well and they can remain in place when you need to clean and refill the feeder, as the disk section fits over a shelf on the bar with the suction cups attached. Mine has stayed attached to the window for months on end with no trouble.
