I discuss the Career Compass method of discovering your career wants, needs and desires and then using various social media tools to show people “What you do and how well you do it”

Again, you have to decide for yourself, though — what your interests are and where they lie. So, gain, these are things you are doing today that you like doing. Then you turn it around. And down here — what are you doing today that you don’t like doing? For me, anything that has any form of bureaucracy or forms or corporate speak drives me mad. I worked in the corporate world for about 15 years and finally realized — and was given lucky happenstance of having a television-writing wife to say (Brrrpppp) “I don’t need you anymore!” and I went to be a freelancer, but that is something that just irks me at every step of the way — that is, bureaucracy, corporate speak. I’m trying to think of what else I do not like. I don’t like being indoors every day. I do like some outside time, although I am a high-tech person I often say “There should be a balance in everyone’s life between high-tech and high-touch.” So, I’ll work on the computer in then morning. I’ll go for a hike in the afternoon.
