I discuss the Career Compass method of discovering your career wants, needs and desires and then using various social media tools to show people “What you do and how well you do it”

Up here in the Northeast what we start to do is we start to note those things we’re doing today — those activities — Again, try to break it down into its smallest, smallest parts — those activities we’re doing today that we like. So, well, for me, I like speaking, Hey. Look at that. And you can actually use the distance from the center as a bit of a gradation. You can say, “I really like speaking or I sort of like it” or you can use it that way. I actually do a garden blog, so I like gardening so that’s an interest I like. I like technology. Technology for me was a vocation and an avocation. I would come home from working all day on computers and play with computers. That was just my interest in life. So, you go through and say “What do you like? I likeb being with children.” I like being outdoors or do you not mind being indoors. Two side of the coin. Maybe you’re more of a person who likes to look at nature through a window rather than be out there fighting off vicious city squirrels fighting for your lunch.
