Some recent information came to light that placed my wife’s grandfather’s birthplace to this small town on the north side of Mount Etna. On our most recent trip, we made a pilgrimage to see what might remain of the home. While the original home had been replaced, next to it were several homes that retained the original look of the late 1800s, as it would have been in his time.
