What is your favorite sign of Spring?
Ornamental Pear (Pyrus kawakamii)
These common street trees always put on a show this time of year. Their falling petals can resemble snow flurries as the bloom peaks, which can be quite confusing when the temperatures are in the high seventies. Despite a few flakes of snow that dropped into the San Fernando Valley this winter, these blossoms are far more common.
