Everyone needs a little time off, as I mentioned last week, so we are spending the evening at the Hollywood Bowl with friends tonight. It has fireworks, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers with Edie Brickell

There is something special about outdoors concerts. The air, the food, the sky and eventually the star lend there own special magic to the evening. I haven’t been to the Bowl in a while, but despite the energy required to get here, it is almost always with it. The Bus to the Bowl makes it relatively easy for both arrival and return.

So, and intermission wanes, I’ll post this note and return to my quiet — well, not considering the fireworks — evening.
