First Paperwhite of the Winter?
Yes, that's right, here in Los Angeles the bulbs start to arrive with the Winter rains. The paperwhites are usually first, followed by the snowbells (snowdrops?) and the daffodils.

You win. I just got my new paperwhite bulbs planted. Snowdrops are the first things in my yard, and they haven't shown their heads above ground yet.
Just a few miles up the road in Santa Barbara mine are just starting to show their little heads also. Being a lover of cooler weather, this is one of my harbingers of winter. Thanks for sharing.
You beat me this year. Only one scape has come up so far and I don't think it will open for another week or so. Your photo's got me checking mine every day.
