Rose pruning is done, thank goodness!
It's the same every year. No matter how careful I am, I always get cut up by the roses. The dead canes are usually the culprit. As they dry out, the thorns seem to become almost razor sharp. Ouch!

Nah, I just need to be smarter and put on some long sleeve shirts. I never expect to get wound up in the thorns when I do this, but it always seems to happen. (SMILE)
