Transcript:

You need to make the hard decisions for yourself and…move on. The perverse nature of that, though, is that you will move on and that action alone will somehow trigger some action on that person’s part. They’re like, “Oh! I didn’t know you felt that way about me.” So sometimes it does take — it doesn’t need a dramatic break, but it needs a break. It takes a decision. That’s why I keep coming back to that word. Because it’s not about being mean, nasty, angry, argumentative, hateful — it’s just about making a decision, because so many of us go along without making decisions. We wallow — there’s an old farm term for you — we wallow in our lives sometimes because we’re not making the decisions that have to be made. And yes, they are difficult. Trust me. I know. I’m a human being, too. I deal with this every single day, where there are decisions you don’t really want to make. You know? I really don’t want to replace the car and have a car payment for the first time in 10 years, but guess what? I need to replace the car, because I have to get to work. Well, you know, you’ve got to — hike up your pants and say, ‘Ok. I’m going to be an adult about this and we’re going to make these decisions.
