Santa’Agata, Catania, Sicily

I take at least one photo of this church every time we visit. We usually spend at least one afternoon strolling the Catania Centro and hearing stories from the relatives and friends about their first apartments here and there, attending university and visiting the ancient fish market nearby. 

A friend, who once visited us in Los Angeles, lives in an old palazzo nearby that has been converted into large, loft-like apartments. I went with black and white on this photo to highlight the detailed Baroque architecture.
