We used to visit friends in Arizona quite regularly, especially one of our favorite places, Sedona. During one trip, a friend took us to one of his favorite spots high on the slopes of Humphrey’s Peak, above Snow Bowl. Here there was a beautiful stand of aspens on all sides and the first floor was covered with ferns. An amazing spot that will always stay with me.
