Another slow baking day today with other stuff getting in the way. I am looking towards Saturday, though, when I will probably finish up all the remaining cookies to be made.

These gooey, caramel and pecan treats are a perennial favorite at our Cookie Party with people oohing and aahing when they taste them for the first time. I don’t use the glaze noted in the recipe, as I think they are plenty sweet enough. As with all the cookies we make for the party, these are served in small square portions so guests can taste as many different varieties of cookies as possible with out feeling overstuffed.
