In this project, we use vegetables in containers to make the most of the few, full sun, areas we have in the garden — chasing the sun, as it were. We found the large pots at a yard sale just 2 hours away. The original marked price was $7 each. We got them for $2 each. I used some re-purposed flagstones as a stable base for each pot and picked up some soil at the gardening center, having run out of my own homemade potting soil.
The total time required to put these 3 pots together, including the time required for taking the video, was only about an hour. A small investment for such a large vegetable planting. You can see me transplanting some of our seedlings. but we will also start some seeds in these pots.
