2 years ago we spent several weekends walking sections of the Los Angeles River with some friends. I saw these flowers in the section that runs along the 5 freeway from the Valley towards downtown. Despite the fact that they are quite ubiquitous in some areas, there is a beauty to be found in their flowers that rivals more specialized and hybridized plants and flowers. I hope you enjoy it.
