Posting here might be a bit light over the next week as Rosanne and I head to Porto, Portugal for the annual Screenwriting Research Network Conference. This conference has become our yearly excuse for travel and has taken us to Leeds, UK, Wellington and Dunedin, New Zealand, Milano, Italy and now, Porto. Even though I am not actually part of the conference, it is always a great time as we explore a new country and re-engage with all the friends we have made from SRN. If you are a screenwriter, I would highly recommend you check out the group and these annual conferences.
While I record Rosanne’s presentations during the conference, I often have 1 or 2 free days on my own to explore and photograph the area. If you follow my Instagram account you know that I often have hundreds of photos from each location and slowly roll them out over the reset of the year. I expect Porto to be much the same. I have already done my usually explorations via Google Maps and found a number of interesting gardens and sites to visit. I wish I had more Portuguese language in my head, but right now it looks like Google Translate will be a very close companion during our 5 days.
