My Morning Coffee – La Colombe Frogtown Roast [Food]

We have visited Frogtown a few times in the last few months and we made a pit stop at La Colombe Coffee Roasters after a downtown lunch at Philippe’s with some friends. This cafe is tucked away alongside the LA River bike path at the dead end of Newell Street. Parking isn’t the best, but we got lucky to find a spot right outside. It is a great place to enjoy some fine coffee and chill out. Also, check out the regularly scheduled Frogtown Fleas which takes place in this same area. If you re bikers, this makes a great stop along the LA River Bikeway.

I had my typical Americano with the Frogtown Blend and it was so good I picked up some beans to have here at home. It seems you can only get the Frogtown Blend at their local California stores and online at the La Colombe web site. Get some if you can.
