Event: NASA - Total Lunar Eclipse: August 28, 2007
For those night owls out there, you can check out this total lunar eclipse at 3:28 am Tuesday morning. I, unfortunately, will be happily ensconced in my bed, but I figure I will see many pictures once I arise. (SMILE) Three o'clock in the morning is a bit late to stay up, even for me.

Introduction
A total eclipse of the Moon occurs during the early morning of Tuesday, August 28, 2007. The event is widely visible from the United States and Canada as well as South America, the Pacific Ocean, western Asia and Australia. During a total lunar eclipse, the Moon's disk can take on a dramatically colorful appearance from bright orange to blood red to dark brown and (rarely) very dark gray.

Ha! I didn't have to get up until 5:30 of course I didn't get to see the entire show. Sorry you missed it, it was fantastic.
