Bluegrass is good for your soul!

In his post, Mike mentioned the bluegrass band he was sketching that night, The Stringdusters. Now, I am always a sucker for bluegrass music and the Stringdusters have 3 MP3s available on their web site at http://www.thestringdusters.com/. They are under the "Media" link at the top of the page.
There music is great! The 3 sample songs show a good variety of bluegrass styles and the band is very tight. Quite an enjoyable listen.
It looks like The Stringdusters perform all over the country, so check out their web site and see if they might be coming to your neck of the woords sometimes soon.
For me, though, its back to some toe-tapping, finger-pickin' good time music.

Douglas, thanks for the mention — I hope you enjoy the String Dusters' music.
If you can imagine it, their live work is just as tight as the recorded numbers, so if they ever come near you definitiely check 'em out.
They were talking about releasing an album, but I don't see one on the site yet. Hopefully soon. :-)
