An annual cultural event for all ages, the Manhattan Beach Arts Festival features 30 diverse booths and free workshops to create art from all genres and disciplines. Much more than just an art festival, the weekend is filled with musical performances and dance instruction, strolling street performers and plentiful food booths from local restaurants. The festivalâ??s focus is to provide a day of creativity for people through the process of making art. All the supplies are free, and no art is for sale. Kids and grown-ups who still have the kid spirit get their hands dirty making a wide variety of artsy items -- and their faces dirty too from the strolling face painter.
