Star Wars panel at Redlands Beer and Film Festival
The Redlands Film and Beer Festival’s mission is to showcase diversity, innovation, and unique visions in independent cinema. In addition, it serves as the primary funding source of Slate Inc.’s Media Arts Youth Program.
We are inspired by Redlands, a city incorporated over 125 years ago. Located in the heart of the Inland Empire, it that maintains its small town charm; while quietly growing its visual arts, food, and craft beer scenes.
Our Festival presents unparalleled access to creative voices through energetic film programming, unique craft beer, great food, and stimulating conversations with compelling working artists. Join us to discover new voices and help us celebrate the one true American art form: Film! Rekindle the excitement and glamour of storytelling at the Redlands Film and Beer Festival – only in historic Redlands, California.
New to this year’s Festival are competitive sections for independent, feature-length U.S. and international fiction films and documentary films. We have also put in extra time and effort to expand on our craft beer options and will now feature several breweries from throughout the local region. In support of this, we are encouraging artists to premiere their web-series and films focused on beer.
The Festival’s signature programs will include Beer and Film at the Breweries, invaluable talks from prominent artists about their trade, in addition to lively discussions at Industry Meet-Ups on the craft of filmmaking by composers, cinematographers, actors, writers, directors, and more.
Films selected for competition at the Redlands Film and Beer Festival are eligible for multiple juried and audience awards.
The Redlands Film and Beer Festival is produced by Slate Inc., a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation dedicated to promoting and supporting independent media artists that embody diversity, innovation and uniqueness of vision. Slate Inc. additional marquee events include the Industry Close-Ups series and Media Arts Labs for youth.
