#Trust30 Day 17: What does the future hold?

Today’s Prompt:

Invent the Future by Cindy Gallop

A man should learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across his mind from within, more than the lustre of the firmament of bards and sages. Yet he dismisses without notice his thought, because it is his. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

My favorite quote of all time is Alan Kay: ‘In order to predict the future, you have to invent it.’ I am all about inventing the future. Decide what you want the future to be and make it happen. Because you can. Write about your future now.

My future involves doing as much good in the world as I can, in as many different ways as possible. More and more each day, I see that I am at my best when I am helping others. My task is to refine my actions and my ideas and be more productive in this task.

One way I go about it, and will continue to do, is find those people who want to learn, who want assistance, who want to improve their lives and their careers. I truly believe that New Media provides a path for all of us to do just that. This means new ways of reaching people, new seminars, new speeches, new events. I must do more and I will do more in the future.

In helping others, I will help myself — now and in the future.
