A large, wide-spreading tree with a massive trunk and thick branches dominates the landscape. The tree features a heavy, textured trunk with prominent buttress roots extending into the dark soil below. Thick, sprawling branches reach outward, covered in dense clusters of green, oval leaves that create a broad canopy. In the background, a manicured green lawn is visible, bordered by a white fence and distant trees under dappled sunlight. Small, indistinct figures of people can be seen far off near the fence line.

Ficus macrophylla, commonly known as the Moreton Bay fig or Australian banyan, is a large evergreen banyan tree of the mulberry and fig family Moraceae. It is native to eastern Australia, from the Wide Bay–Burnett region of Queensland in the north to the Illawarra region of New South Wales. The infraspecies Ficus macrophylla f. columnaris is endemic to Lord Howe Island. Its common name refers to Moreton Bay in Queensland. It is best known for its imposing buttress roots. – Wikipedia

A large banyan tree with thick, pale grey aerial roots and sprawling branches dominates the image. Numerous vertical roots descend from the upper branches, creating a dense, intertwined structure at the base. The canopy is filled with dark green leaves through which sunlight filters

Restricted to Lord Howe Island. The most remarkable characteristic of this plant (as compared to F. macrophylla subsp. macrophylla in mainland Australia) is its lack of a single main trunk. Instead, it has 10 or more trunks each having arisen from an aerial root. In 1882 it was recorded that the largest of the old trees on Lord Howe Island covered an area of about 1 hectare.
