This is probably my fourth or fifth order from Moo MiniCards for my business cards. As you can see form the photo, Moo MiniCards are about half the size of typical “western” business cards and, more importantly for me, I can use any of my own photos for the card fronts. The Moo.com system can pull in photos from your social medial accounts and allow you to format them for the cards. In my case, I used my Flickr account as the source and then selected 25 different photos to use across the 100 cards in a typical order.
One major reason I return to Moo Cards is that the cards never fail to elicit a reaction when I hand them to someone. There is always an “ah ha” moment from the recipient. I then get a chance to talk about Moo and also about the photo they received. I find it to be a great conversation starter and I believe people will remember me better than someone who has a standard business card. Moo also offers several others products including notecards, stickers and even standard sized business cards.
As you can see in the photo, there is a code to get 15% off your first order from Moo.com.

Here are 90 pictures from yesterday’s CareerCampSCV (Santa Clarita Valley) 2013. As always, we had a great group of attendees (who also became presenters and discussion leaders) and much career-related information was shared.

A highlight of our trip back to our home state of Ohio was a chance to meetup with longtime podcast listener, Ben M. from Columbus. He made the trek up from the city to my small hometown of New London, Ohio to share a pizza and sub with us at my childhood pizza house. It is always great to meet people face to face when I am out and about. Thanks again, Ben!
Yesterday we held our 3rd CareerCampSCV (our 7th CareerCamp overall) and it was another great day. I am always so pleasantly surprised with how well these events work. I think we provide a lot of value and everyone seems to go away very happy and ready to take on the next step in their career. Here are some photos I took during the event yesterday.

Here is a list of the sessions that were presented at CareerCampSCV 2012. I recorded all of my sessions (3) and will be releasing them over the next week or so.
I was part of this panel discussion tonight, Social Media and Your Career, as part of Social Media Week. There was lots of great discussion and people said they got a lot out of it. Audio and Video will be coming soon. I will post them here sometime early next week. For now, here are some photos from the pre-panel “meet and greet”.
