Despite a lot of busyness prepping for family coming in from Sicily, the tree is up and house decorated for the most part.
We keep our decorations up until Jan 6, but today we begin the ending, collections cards, packages and other small items to make the move into the new year.

Christmas Lights on the House this year
I started this red and white theme last year, repurposing a string of white and a string of red lights — mixing the bulbs between them. I like the “candy cane” style and it is a step up from usual preference of all white lights. I think i need one more strip of red and white for the garage and maybe string across the front and far property line to make things complete. Of course, everything sort of grows organically from year to year.
