My Word with Douglas E. Welch

The South Island of New Zealand beckons off the Wellington Harbor headlands.

You can see it from here, but it’s a (sometimes rough) 3 hour ferry ride from the center of Wellington through the Cook Strait.

We’ll have to make that ride sometime just to see it up close.
