Photo: Oberlin College Visit – The Reading Girl, John Adams Jackson (1825-1879)

Sitting in the Oberlin College library is this sculpture (and one other) called “The Reading Girl”. It has been a tradition for years (according to their web site) to dress up the statues. According to that info, she wears a size 10 sneaker (LAUGH)
