Oxeye Daisy, San Fernando Valley, California [Prints Available]

A close-up photograph of a single white flower with a large, bright yellow center. Long, slender white petals radiate from the central disk, each featuring subtle longitudinal grooves. The circular middle is composed of many small, textured yellow florets. In the blurred background, dark green leaves and shadowy patches are visible.

Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare)

While on campus for another event, I spent an hour or so shooting in the Cal Poly Pomona Rose Garden and Japanese Garden. 
These oxeye daisies were used for underplanting among the large roses.
