This is a black and white photograph of a formal garden viewed from a distance, likely through an archway or dense foliage, creating a dark frame around the scene. A long, straight, light-colored gravel path leads directly towards a tiered fountain in the center of the image. The fountain appears to be made of stone and is surrounded by neatly trimmed hedges and some smaller bushes. On either side of the path are rows of similarly shaped shrubs, contributing to the symmetrical design of the garden.
