Flowering Now: Epiphyllum [Photography]

Posted on May 1, 2025 by Douglas E. Welch

The image features a cluster of vibrant pink flowers, likely from a cactus plant, with multiple blooms in various stages of opening. The flowers have numerous petals that are a gradient of pink, with some petals having a deeper pink hue at the tips. The center of each flower displays prominent stamens with white filaments and yellow anthers. The flowers are surrounded by green, thick, and fleshy cactus leaves, some of which are spiny. In the background, there is a white wall, and the setting appears to be outdoors, with natural sunlight illuminating the scene. The flowers are in focus, while the background is slightly blurred, emphasizing the flowers' details. A tag with a barcode is visible on the left side, suggesting the plant might be for sale.</p>
