In The Garden: First Daffodils 2025 [Photography]

Posted on April 2, 2025 by Douglas E. Welch

The image features a cluster of bright yellow daffodils in full bloom, with their trumpet-shaped corona and six petal-like tepals radiating outward. The flowers are set against a backdrop of green cactus pads, which have a rough texture and are covered with small, raised bumps. The daffodils are surrounded by long, narrow green leaves that fan out from the base of the flowers. In the background, there is a hint of a white wall, providing a neutral contrast to the vivid yellow of the flowers. The lighting in the image is natural, highlighting the vibrant colors and textures of the plants.</p>
